Blueair continue to get better and better-- as
demonstrated by the new 601. Overall, the Blueair
601 is a very efficient air cleaner with an impressive
warranty.
The 601 uses primarily HEPA filters to clean the air.
To reduce odors and gases, it also utilizes activated
carbon technology. This model is effective for
larger rooms up to about 680 square feet.
The Blueair 601 is also surprisingly quiet,
considering it uses a HEPA filter. It achieves
this by drawing air in through the bottom and sides of
the unit and releasing filtered air from the top and
sides.
This model scores well in nearly every category.
The only drawback may be it's steep price and moderate
maintenance costs. But, given it's effectiveness
and strong warranty, the Blueair 601 is a good choice
for many people.
