Review: The Honeywell 50250 is part of
the Enviracaire line. The 50250 is a great air
purifier for smaller rooms. It's efficiency will
be reduced when used in any room larger than 350 square
feet.
This Honeywell model has the circular design which
isn't as popular as other designs. Yet, the 50250
is very efficient and doesn't make as much noise as you
would expect from a HEPA filter.
This air cleaner has average maintenance costs
including about $250 a year for filters and energy
costs. Overall though, it is easy to use and is
less expensive than many of our other "Top 10" air
purifiers. A solid choice.
